Washington, D.C. ( Little Ethiopia )-In a brief statement we received from the prominent Ethiopian Humanitarian Zebider Zewde who was in Minnesota last weekend for another fundraising effort , told Little Ethiopia that she will sit down with TV Host Gerawork in the Fraser Mansion in the Dupont Circle location on Saturday September 9, 2017 and share her experience about her humanitarian activities  in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Addis Ababa is the sister city of Washington D.C. and the Mayor of Washington D.C. Muriel Bowser sent her Director of the Office of African Affairs, Mamadu Samba to represent her at the 1st fund raising organized by Miss Ethiopia USA pageant in the District of Columbia.

Mary Joy Ethiopia's organizations fundamental programs are framed under four components that includes HIV/AIDS, Community and Organizational Capacity Building, improving livelihood that includes encouraging public and private partnership. Recently the Miss Ethiopia USA Pageant in collaboration with several Ethiopian Artistes and entertainers raised funds in the city.
