Ethiopian Live Show : Humanitarian Sister Zebideru Zewide Appears On The Gera TV Show on September 9, 2017

Washington, D.C. ( Little Ethiopia )-The prominent Ethiopian talk show host Derje Gerawork ( GERA ) to interview a great Ethiopian humanitarian, the founder and CEO of Mary Joy Ethiopia on Saturday, September 9, 2017. Sister Zebideru Zewde who established the organization in Ethiopia in 1994 to help orphan and vulnerable children and destitute older persons now is helping 36,000 children and 5000 elders.

In a brief interview by phone with Zewde who is in Minesota for another fundraising : She told Little Ethiopia that her organizations fundamental programs are framed under four components that includes HIV/AIDS, Community and Organizational Capacity Building, improving livelihood that includes encouraging public and private partnership. Recently the Miss Ethiopia USA Pagent in collaboration with several Ethiopian Artistes and entertainers raised funds for Mary Joy Ethiopia. The Mayor of Washington D.C. sent her Director of the Office Of African Affairs Mamadou Samba to represent her while a former Ethiopian Beauty Queen Meron Wudneh who won the Miss Africa USA title in 2014 came from Ethiopia to attend the event. The District of Columbia is the sister city of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  

The Interview with GERA TV will be held at the famous Fraser Mansion in Dupont Circle.
