Ethiopian Born Swedish Author Jenny Rogne Launches a Book in Washington D.C.

Washington, D.C ( Little Ethiopia )-A Special presentation of a book by Jenny Rogneby who was born in Ethiopia, but was given away for adoption when she was one year old. She is a Swedish crime and thriller author who currently lives in Malta and Barcelona. She studied criminology, sociology, law and psychology at Stockholm University and later was a criminal investigator in the Stockholm City Police Department for seven years. Her work inspired her to create the character Leona Lindberg, a criminal investigator with a dark past who stars in her Leona crime novel series. The first book in the series, “Leona: The Die Is Cast” (Other), was a best-seller in Sweden and follows Leona’s investigation of a perplexing bank robbery carried out by a 7-year-old girl.
